Fall Baking

I spent most of yesterday either baking or trying to bake. Trying to bake, because it took me over two hours to purchase all of the necessary supplies. I could not find my fall cookie cutters, so I drove around to numerous stores before finding what I needed. This is one of the perks living in the city offers. When you need something you generally don't have to travel too far to find it.

I was successful in completing 3 recipes. 2 of which were new that I had never tried. Most of them are for a cookie order that I have this weekend. But I will also bring a platter to share with some friends at school and in Dryden. I think later this week I'll be doing 2 more recipes to complete the order. Pumpkin cookies and I'm not sure what else..... This is just a warm up for the Christmas cookies that I will be starting mid November. I'm thinking I might need a second freezer this year.

The spider cookies came out really cute! I love the little spider guy that I created out of an M&M. the candy corn cookies are always a pain, but yummy. The leaf cookies turned out beautiful and one recipe made about 5 dozen.

The popular pumpkin cookies with delicious cinnamon frosting!
