If you've never browsed the health news section on yahoo, than you're in for a treat. Here are just some of the latest headlines in health news.
Turning Your Clock Back Sunday May Help Your Heart
E-Cards May Aid in STD Notification
Eating Fast Until Full Triples Overweight Risk
Less Exposure to Violent Media Makes Youths Less Aggressive
Hot Flashes, Night Sweats a Good Sign For Breast Cancer Patients
Doorknobs and TV Remotes are Germ Hotbeds.
So I'm thinking, seriously this is news? I said "duh" in my mind a half dozen times. I especially like the E-Card STD notification idea. Next time that Hallmark E-card hits your inbox you might panic.
On the pregnancy side of news, because that's where my interest mainly lies since my days of random sex are over, I found more "evidence" that breastfeeding is more of a good idea. Breast-Fed Baby May Mean Better Behaved Child. Now if anyone knew me as a child, I was no angel. I can now attribute this to my mother not breast feeding me. So really mom, you have no one to blame now but yourself. :) If there is any scientific basing to this "news," it might just be enough to convince me. Not that there aren't many other wonderful benefits, but when you work with middle schoolers all day long and their long list of behavioral "issues" you will understand my fear. So I'll be creating a breast-fed angel.
