I've been staying busy with a few craft projects. Crafts and cookies. :) For the baby shower Julie, Anne, Mandy, and I did about 600 flower cookies and I also did some baby foot stamp shortbread cookies but I didn't get pics of these.
Heres some of the crafts:
Burp Cloths. I used some fun soft flannel from Joann Fabrics. Cloth diapers are sandwiched between two coordinating pieces of fabric. I fringed the ends which will probably look all frayed and fun after being washed. I did these this weekend while spending most of my time on the couch. If you're having a baby anytime soon, you may be getting a few of these as a gift. :)

Coffee Filter Flowers. The idea and pattern are from Martha Stewarts website. The petals are cut from coffee filters and then assembled on a flower wire using floral tape. After assembling I used water color paint. The petals were opened and curled using a small wooden skewer once they dried. These roses required a bit of patience. The first few that I did were slow (and I'm not very patient when crafting, I like immediate results) and didn't look quite right. I gave them a break after a day and after watching the video on Martha's site tried them again the next day and was more patient. They came out much better and they got easier. They make a pretty center piece on my dining table.
