September Notes

I just typed a great blog and went to publish and all my great thoughts vanished........ bummer. I don't know that I can recreate what I already created.

So in a nutshell, because I'm too annoyed to elaborate. Kate is great, school is good, my life in general is busy and happy.

Teaching kindegartners and 1st graders is chaos (sometimes organized). They don't understand human language, they are crazy! I'm trying to learn their ways of communication. And trying to get them to line up after recess......forget it! It's like herding cats! I learned real quick that chasing them is not a good idea. I must learn to outsmart them..........

I'm excited that fall is here. I pulled out a few fall decorations today and lit a fall candle. The next few months will be a lot of fun with all the holidays and season changes. I'm beginning to think about Christmas crafts and cookies! My grandma taught me how to crochet last weekend, so I'm thinking of what I could create with this new skill. So far I have crocheted a beautiful circle, which I will call a coaster, because it is doing a great job under my wine glass. :) I decided after drooling over all the adorable crocheted baby hats on Etsy that I needed to make some instead of buying. So maybe everyone will be getting a hat for Christmas. :)
