Things are busy around here, it seems there just are not enough hours in the day to do all the things I want to. I get home from school around 4 and all I want to do is snuggle every minute until bed time with Kate. Lately Kate is going to bed early, around 8 pm. This means I only get 4 hours a day with her! Its ridiculous and I hate it. I cherish my weekend even more now. I have even less time from crafts and baking now. I did manage to bake 3 batches of pumpkin cookies yesterday. I didn't frost them yet, just baked and put them into the freezer. My crafting lately is crochet. I'm doing some cute hats but its slow going. I still find some time to look at all the creative craft blogs and be inspired. There just isn't enough time for me to do much of them though. I love fall and all the colors, smells, sounds, and decorations. City living in the fall is nothing compared to being up north. We went to Traverse City in early October and last weekend Kate and I went to Mt. Pleasant for the CMU Homecoming. Hopefully we will get outside this coming weekend and enjoy some fall delights. I miss my mid week bike rides on the back roads of Dryden with Julie and watching all of Anne and Mom's silly tv shows in Dryden. One nice perk when I worked in Richmond was getting to visit Dryden frequently.
