Another reason to love fall-Apples! Baked, fried, peeled, halved, sauced.......whatever way you choose they are great. I came across an apple cake recipe and gave it a try and was very pleased. I used Gala apples and the caramel sauce is just melted caramels and cream with some chopped walnuts sprinkled on top. You can find the recipe here.
