Rocky Road




Super simple and delicious recipe for Rocky Road from Cookie Madness. This recipe is so easy and not only is it delicious looking, it tastes great too. I used a sauce pan and filled it 1/4 of the way with water and brought it to a boil. I then had a glass bowl that fit over the pan perfectly so I set that in and melted the chocolate and added all of the other ingredients as called for. I used Guittard semi-sweet chocolate, which I was lucky enough to find at the Christmas Tree Shop for only 2.99 a bag!! Such a deal, this is great baking chocolate. I then lined two bread pans with foil and poured in the mixture. It took a hour or so to harden in the fridge. After slicing it, and trying not to eat too much, I stored it in a covered container in the fridge. I could see this being a great Christmas cookie platter addition, or even wrapped up in cute bags to give as gifts. Its sure to be a crowd pleaser.
