Halloween

Jacob, Audrey, and Kate.

Abby and Alissa with Kate.

Audrey and Kate ready to trick or treat.

So I wasn't going to dress Kate up for Halloween. I decided awhile ago that I wouldn't spend the money on a costume. But then on Thursday a friend and work was telling me she saw a parent dressed up as a chef and the baby was a lobster in a pot! The wheels began turning instantly in my crafty brain. Oddly, I have a chef outfit. Something I've had in my costume bin for close to 10 years and I've never used it. I didn't want to make a lobster outfit, plus I wanted to be a little more original. So I came up with spaghetti and meatballs. All I needed was yarn, foam balls painted brown, and I bought a cheap long sleeved onesie. The hat was just a piece of red felt that I sewed into a hat. I sewed and hotglued the yarn on. The pot was borrowed from the church. It was a perfect fit. It was a lot of fun to make and take her around in it. She loved our little trip down the street and talked/yelled at anyone that would listen. We even had strangers taking our picture! ;)
